The Mission will provide all of its services to help all of God’s people regardless of religion, race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
Saint Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Center and Out-Reach Mission was a vision of Reverend Francisco (Paco) Hernandez and Deacon Peter Batty of St. Mary Star of the Sea Parish in Key West, Florida.
After many years of planning, locating a suitable facility and securing the initial funding, the Mission became a reality as a result of lots of hard work and dedication from many volunteers in late summer 2006.
On September 2, 2006 The Mission was officially dedicated by the Most Reverend Felipe Estevez from the
Archdiocese of Miami.
The Mission
continues its wonderful works under the
direction of our Pastor, Fr. John C. Baker, the
love an care of our parishioners, and support of
our community. Donations are always welcome.
